Odoo Inventory: live stock across every warehouse
Know what you actually have, where it is, and what it truly cost — barcode-driven operations with landed costs and automatic reordering.
Odoo Inventory records receipts, internal movements, deliveries and stock counts across defined warehouses and locations. Pandoratech configures product units, routes, traceability and valuation around the customer’s operating process. Barcode functions, advanced reporting and integrations are checked against the chosen version and modules before the warehouse rollout is approved.

UAE compliance notes
Inventory valuation and import-related accounting are reviewed with the customer’s finance team. Product traceability and stock controls support reliable records; tax treatment and reporting requirements need separate finance approval.
Get product and location data right first
Stock accuracy starts with consistent product codes, units of measure and a location structure warehouse staff can use. We define which products require batch, serial or expiry tracking and when those identifiers are captured. Opening stock needs an agreed count and valuation basis, with differences documented before go-live.
Warehouse routes describe how goods move from receipt to storage, picking and dispatch. The design should match actual handling rather than copy a complicated template. Transfers between branches need clear ownership of in-transit stock and a procedure for discrepancies at the receiving location.
Test physical movement and financial impact together
An acceptance journey includes a partial receipt, delivery, return, internal transfer and stock adjustment. Traceable items are followed through their lot or serial record. Scanners and label printers are tested with real codes and labels, including how staff recover from unreadable codes or an incorrect quantity.
Finance reviews valuation, landed-cost allocation and inventory adjustments for the chosen accounting setup. Reordering rules use agreed lead times and demand assumptions. The handover defines who can change stock, approve counts and investigate negative or unexpected quantities so the system remains accurate after launch.

Frequently asked questions
Can Odoo track batches, serial numbers and expiry?
Yes: lots, serial numbers and expiry dates, with FEFO removal. Traceability is configured per product and workflow on the selected module set. The team decides when identifiers are entered and how they follow receipts, transfers, deliveries and returns. Expiry-based handling needs correct dates and an agreed removal process; acceptance should demonstrate the actual warehouse scenario.
Can we use barcode scanners and label printers?
Yes. We supply, install and configure scanners and label printers, and check existing devices before reuse. Device support depends on the interface, labels and barcode application selected. Existing hardware should be checked before reuse is promised. Testing includes receipt, picking, count and error recovery, with the required edition or additional barcode modules identified in the implementation scope.
How do you migrate opening stock?
Agree a count date, locations, product codes, units and valuation before import. Warehouse and finance owners reconcile quantities and values together, including traceability identifiers where needed. Open receipts, deliveries and transfers need separate treatment so they do not duplicate the opening position after cutover.
