Computer vision that turns cameras into measurements

Your cameras already watch everything; computer vision makes what they see countable, searchable and actionable. We build video-analytics systems for UAE retail, logistics and industrial sites — running on edge appliances, in UAE cloud regions, or hybrid — with privacy-aware design from the first drawing.

Computer vision analytics uses machine-learning models to detect, classify, count and track objects in camera footage, turning video into events, alerts and reports. Pandoratech builds vision systems for UAE retail, warehouse and industrial environments, deployable on edge appliances or in UAE cloud regions, with privacy-aware configuration aligned with PDPL.

Where it works

Four scenario families we deploy

Every scenario starts as a pilot on your own footage with agreed accuracy thresholds — the metric lines below are illustrative examples of what each delivers, not promised results.

Retail footfall & shelf analytics

Count visitors, measure dwell time, watch queue build-up and check shelf availability across branches — dashboards your area managers open every morning.

Illustrative: queue-length alerts within seconds of build-up

Warehouse & logistics counting

Pallets in and out, vehicles at the gate, bay occupancy and loading times — reconciled against the ERP, so the gate log and the stock ledger finally agree.

Illustrative: gate events logged with timestamped clips

Quality inspection on production lines

Surface defects, missing labels, wrong assemblies and packaging faults flagged in real time for a human inspector to confirm — consistent checks that never get tired.

Illustrative: defect flags routed to in-line human review

PPE & safety monitoring on sites

Helmets, vests and restricted zones watched across construction and industrial sites, with PDPL-aware configuration: signage guidance, zone masking and strict retention limits.

Illustrative: zone-breach alerts to supervisors on shift

From pixels to events

The five stages behind every alert

Video analytics is a pipeline, not a single model. Accuracy at the end depends on discipline at every stage before it.

  1. 01

    Camera & sensor capture

Existing CCTV and IP cameras are usually enough; we survey angles, resolution and lighting, and add sensors only where the scene demands it.

  2. 02

    Detection & classification

Models tuned for your environment find the objects that matter — people, pallets, vehicles, defects, PPE — in every frame.

  3. 03

    Object tracking

Detections are linked across frames into tracks, so a pallet or a person is counted once — not fifty times.

  4. 04

    Alerts & events

Tracks become business events — queue too long, vehicle at gate 3, missing helmet — pushed to dashboards, WhatsApp or email.

  5. 05

    Reports & ERP/POS integration

Events roll up into reports and flow into Odoo, your ERP or POS — stock counts, gate logs and inspection records updated without re-keying.

Deployment

Three ways to run it, one privacy standard

The choice is about bandwidth, latency and how comfortable you are with video leaving the site — we recommend after the site survey, not before.

Edge — on-site appliance

A GPU appliance beside your recorder processes video on the premises. Footage never leaves the site; only events and counts travel.

Cloud — UAE regions

Streams processed in UAE cloud regions for multi-site analytics and heavier models — with bandwidth-friendly encoding.

Hybrid — best of both

Detection at the edge, aggregation and reporting in the cloud: sites stay fast and private while head office sees the whole picture.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need new cameras, or does this work with our existing CCTV?

Usually existing cameras are enough. The site survey checks angles, resolution, frame rate and lighting per camera; where a view is genuinely unusable we say so and suggest the cheapest fix — often repositioning a camera, not buying a system.

How does this fit with UAE privacy law and PDPL?

Designs are privacy-aware: clear signage, zone masking, face blurring where identification is not needed, strict retention limits and on-premise processing options. This is general information, not legal advice — confirm obligations for your specific setup with your legal counsel.

What accuracy should we expect?

Accuracy is tuned per scene during a pilot on your own footage, with measurable thresholds agreed before rollout — for example minimum detection and false-alert rates per camera view. Lighting, angles and congestion drive the result far more than model brand names.

Are dashboards and alerts available in Arabic?

Yes. Dashboards, alert messages and reports are bilingual English/Arabic, including RTL layouts and localized number and date formats — supervisors see alerts in whichever language they work in.

Does this integrate with our ERP or POS?

Yes — that is where vision pays back. Counts, gate events and inspection outcomes flow into Odoo or your ERP/POS through APIs, so stock movements, shipment logs and quality records update without re-keying.

What does a deployment look like, and how long does it take?

A typical rollout is a site survey, a pilot on a few cameras with agreed accuracy targets, then phased expansion. A single-site pilot commonly runs four to six weeks from survey to live alerts; multi-site rollouts follow once thresholds are proven.
