Moving an established website without losing its addresses
Barugzai Motors’ previous website had been earning search visits for years. The new one changed every address by adding a language to it, which is exactly where site moves lose their traffic. It went live on 4 October 2026.
What we did
- Listed every address the old site had, including ones only Google still remembered, and pointed each at its new page
- Kept the titles of the four strongest pages word for word
- Turned an English-only site into English, Arabic and Russian, each language at its own address
- Added structured data to every page: the dealership, each car with its price, the FAQs
- Gave the site a working sitemap; the old one had none
What can be measured
- 502/502
- old addresses tested, all landing on the right page
- 195
- pages in the sitemap (62 on the old site)
- 3
- languages (1 before)
- 100/100
- Google Lighthouse SEO check, mobile
After a move like this, search positions settle over several weeks. We watch them for the first 30 days.
