How much downtime should we expect?
Most Odoo migrations are cut over across a single weekend, so invoicing resumes on the normal business day. The migration is rehearsed end to end on a staging copy first, which means the production cutover follows a script that has already been tested rather than being attempted live.
How is data validated?
Reconciliation reports per module — trial balance must match to the fils, verified with your accountant.
Can we skip Odoo versions?
Yes. Pandoratech migrates across multiple Odoo versions in one planned hop — for example Odoo 14 directly to Odoo 19 — rather than upgrading one version at a time. We run Odoo 14 through 19 in production on our own infrastructure, so the version-specific breaking changes are known rather than discovered mid-project.
Do you migrate attachments and documents?
Yes — attachments, documents and images are migrated wherever the source system permits export. Where a legacy system locks files behind a proprietary format, we tell you before the project starts rather than discovering it at cutover, and agree an export route or an archive plan.
