A fully-localised Odoo 17 demo database for a Pakistan-based food business running corporate meal delivery, tiffin service, meal subscriptions and office catering — from recipe to payslip.
The challenge
The business operates four different revenue lines — corporate boxes, daily tiffin, subscriptions and event catering — each with its own inventory, production and billing rhythm. Without one system, recipe costing, stock planning and subscription renewals were impossible to reconcile.
Our approach
We configured Odoo 17 for Pakistan: PKR currency, 17% GST, local chart of accounts and a Pakistan payroll structure. Bills of Materials define each meal recipe; manufacturing orders consume raw stock and produce finished meals; sales and subscription contracts invoice automatically; and HR/payroll run the team end-to-end.
The results
Purchases become stock, stock becomes meals, meals become invoices, and the general ledger stays balanced. The demo proves that a single Odoo database can run a multi-channel food business with real local tax and payroll compliance.
