The challenge
Contractors were running tenders, estimates, procurement and billing in disconnected spreadsheets and documents. Cost visibility was delayed, BOQ revisions were hard to control, and variations often disappeared into email threads before they could be billed.
Our approach
We productized the contracting lifecycle in Odoo 17 Community. The suite starts with tender intake and BOQ import, builds estimates from configurable formulas and cost libraries, compares vendor quotes side-by-side, converts awarded tenders into live projects, tracks site logs and procurement, then handles progress billing, retention, variations and claims — with document control and PDF reports throughout.
The results
Every cost is now traceable from tender to invoice. Estimators reuse rates and formulas, project managers see budget vs actual and forecast margin live, and the billing module prevents over-certification. Document registers and RFIs/submittals give consultants and clients the audit trail they expect.
