Odoo ERP implementation connects sales, purchasing, stock and finance through agreed business processes and shared records. Pandoratech scopes Community and Enterprise projects for UAE businesses, from process mapping and data migration to user acceptance testing, training and operational handover. Start with transactions, responsibilities and reporting
An ERP scope should describe how an enquiry becomes a quotation, how an order reserves stock, who approves purchases and when finance recognises the transaction. We map these handoffs with the people who perform them. Branches, legal entities, currencies and approval limits are defined before configuration begins.
The output is a module and responsibility map, a list of reports and a delivery backlog. Standard functions, additional modules, integrations and custom development are identified separately. This makes recurring costs and future maintenance visible before an edition is selected.

Prove the full business cycle before go-live
A UAE trading company, for example, should test a customer order through purchase, partial receipt, delivery, invoicing and payment. A service business needs a different acceptance journey: quotation, project delivery, time or milestone approval and invoicing. These are illustrative test scenarios, not claims about a particular client.
Migration approval includes customer and supplier balances, stock quantities and values, open documents and selected historical records. Finance and operational owners review control totals and exceptions. A working demo alone does not establish that the opening position is correct.

Plan the rollout around operational readiness
A rollout date depends on data quality, integrations, the number of entities and the time users can commit to testing. The proposal sets the phases and acceptance criteria. A ready-made industry product and a custom multi-company ERP implementation have different scopes and should not share a blanket delivery promise.
Before handover, agree who administers users, who owns the backups, how incidents are reported and which enhancements require a separate quotation. UAE accounting and payroll requirements are reviewed with the customer’s finance and HR teams; tax advice and statutory submissions remain with the appointed advisers.

Why Pandoratech
Why Pandoratech
Industry SaaS editions for HORECA, salons, retail, and general trading go live in 1 day; custom implementations in 45–90 days — not the 6–9 months typical of this market.
We run Odoo ourselves for our own operations — versions 14 to 19 in production today.
Fixed-scope delivery from an independent team specializing in Community, with Enterprise implementation and development also available.
Data reconciliation, business-owner acceptance and operational handover are part of the delivery plan.

Frequently asked questions
What determines the cost of an Odoo implementation?
We quote a fixed scope after a free assessment, with no open-ended billing. The implementation cost depends on entities, modules, migration, integrations, custom development and training. Recurring hosting, support, third-party modules and Enterprise subscriptions are separate budget items. Pandoratech prepares a written scope so you can compare the full running cost as well as the initial project price.
Should we choose Odoo Community or Enterprise?
We implement both and will tell you honestly which fits. Choose the edition after testing the required workflows. Community can suit a business whose needs are covered by its core, reviewed add-ons and scoped development. Enterprise may be appropriate when its licensed applications are important to the project. Pandoratech is an independent implementer and is not an official Odoo partner.
How long does implementation take?
Our industry SaaS editions (HORECA, salons, retail, general trading) go live in 1 day — pre-configured on our managed infrastructure. Custom implementations run 45–90 days depending on modules and customization. The timeline is agreed after discovery and a review of migration and integration risks. The plan allocates time for configuration, customer testing, corrections, training and cutover. Adding entities, major features or historical data changes the schedule and should be handled through an agreed change process.
Can you take over a stalled Odoo project?
Yes. Pandoratech can assess an existing installation, its custom modules, data quality and unresolved requirements. The assessment identifies what can be retained, what needs correction and what requires rebuilding. A recovery plan prioritises business continuity and a usable first release before optional enhancements.
What should we prepare for the first ERP workshop?
Bring sample quotations, invoices, purchase orders, stock reports and management reports, together with a list of entities and user roles. Identify the people who can approve finance and operational decisions. Real documents reveal requirements more clearly than a list of desired software features.
